For a natural insect repellent mix 2 drops of peppermint or lavendar with 2 teaspoons of almond or sweet oil.

1/2 cup of vinegar to 2 cups of warm water is great for washing windows.

Have an ink stain on your favorite pair of pants, skirt, shirt, or dress? Dab it with rubbing alcohol and watch the stain disappear.

For a great bathtub or sink cleaner mix 1/2 cup of baking soda into a bowl. Add enough water to make the mixture a frosting or paste. Place the mixture on a cloth or sponge, clean, and rinse.

For a natural furniture polish, mix 1/2 teaspoon olive oil with 1/4 cup vinegar.
